Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill]   Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill] EmptyThu Jan 31, 2013 11:30 pm

Another awesome episode, imo.

Elena and Jeremy kicking ass on their own was badass. Liked them working together and not needing help, that has been a complaint for Elena all the time by fans, that she always have to lean on Stefan or Damon.

Stebekah was ok, liked their dance scene and their talk about Rebekah wanting to be human. I laughed at Stefan trying to sneak out the door.

Kol. I have a question. I missed half of it, because the livestream I was watching had cut out, but when it came back on Kol was burning? In s2 Damon tried to kill Elijah by burning him to get the dagger back, but it didn't work. How was they able to kill Kol by burning him? Did I miss something?

Also, I guess Kol won't be in the spinoff? Which is kind of weird and sad, considering the actor of Kol wants to continue playing him in the spinoff. Unless Silas resurrects him?

Bonnie was fuckn awesome. Loved how she took down Kol, that was seriously badass. She has a lot more power now. She was even able to put up a wall to keep Klaus in the gilbert house.

Is Abby going to be making more appearances, or is it just for this episode?

Damon and Klaus was awesome. I thought it was kind of contrived for them to be talking about klaroline out of nowhere. IDK. I even liked Klaus bringing up Stefan's compulsion in 3x05, but felt bad for Damon.

I liked the episode, it was good. next week they are on the island, and from pics it seems Rebekah and Damon will be captured by the new hunter, Vaughn.

Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill]   Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill] EmptyFri Feb 01, 2013 1:04 am

Omg, I loved this episode. By far one of my favorites of the entire series so far.

I loved every second of the episode, seriously.

Stebekah. It was cute, I'm really happy Stefan ended up not betraying her. I felt bad for Rebekah, I used to loathe her but I have really started to like her this season. It was hilarious when Stefan was sneaking out, he was like WTF did I do.

Bonnie, omg my baby. She was so bad ass. I loved when she was kicking Klaus's ass. I was screaming at the screen. But, can I say how ugh her parents are? I get it, they want to protect her, but wtf? Her dad was barely home, but now he wants to protect his daughter? Where was he when her grandmother died? Where was he when she was getting bitten by vamps and choked by them?? And don't get me started on Abby, like really? She been absent her whole like just about and she wants to now come storming in and laying down ground rules. Have a seat, ma'am.

Jeremy and Elena kicked ass too, I was proud of Elena. I haven't liked her this much in a long time.

It was funny when Klaus was taunting Damon and then asking for advice for Caroline.

Bonnie had more screen time than Damon, what?? I loved it, seriously. They have been spoiling us Bonnie fans these past few episodes.

And Damonic, they didn't set Kol on fire. When Kol was about to cut off Jeremy's arm, Elena unpinned herself and stopped him and she was cutting him and Jeremy got up and sprayed the water from the sink on Kol since the Mayor put vervain in the water. That slowed him down and at that point, Elena took the dagger out of Kol's inside pocket and tossed it to Jeremy and that's when his body caught on fire.

And, Kol could still possible on the spinoff. Like you said, if Silas is raised then he could possible come back to life, if what Shane is saying is true.

Ohhh, I didn't see all that. My livestream had cut off because my connection went offline, so when it popped back on I just saw him burning.

And I agree with you about Bonnie's parents. Like come on, seriously? Abby wants to play Mom to her now after abandoning her when she was little, and abandoning her last season? Same for her dad, now they want to decide to be there for her after being absent her whole life? Trying to enforce rules on her and stuff. Worst. Parents. Ever.

Elena was awesome. Jeremy was awesome. Bonnie was awesome. All three of them individually kicked ass tonight lol. I bet Kol was surprised by all her power when she attacked him at the school lol.

Also, I found it kind of contrived yet hilarious that Klaus asked Damon about klaroline.

Off-topic question. I asked this in the fanfic section but no one replied. Do you know of any good Bamon AH fics? They have to be IC for both Damon and Bonnie. Can you pm or list me a few?

PostSubject: Re: Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill]   Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill] EmptyFri Feb 01, 2013 1:48 am

Yea, I didn't watch it live. Any time I try to watch live, I end up missing much and having to watch it again because I have 2 year old twins and they don't let mommy have nice things lol.

Anyway, yea her parents killed me this episode, more so, Abby than her dad though.

Lol, the look Kol had on his face when Bonnie took him down. He was not expecting that, at all. I felt bad for Kol though, they will look lke fools when Silas comes and kick all of their ass though lol.

And about fanfic, sorry, I don't read fanfic. If you check out the bonnie bennett tag on tumblr, people always post about them. There is one called Dormiente, that I have heard good things about. I will ask around and PM you if I find out some I hear are good. Sorry no one responded to you, a lot of the old posters don't post much anymore. Wish I could bring in more people to the site, but even the ones that actually started the forum are gone. I'm like the only admin/mod left that is active.

Ok, I'll check it out and see what I find. Yeah I noticed not a lot of people post. It's usually mostly you and me, then a few others will come in and post from time to time. I miss our old forums we was at, v-d.net.

You can't post about this site on tumblr and try to get more Bonnie fans from there? There's a site I go to, it's supposed to be a general VD board, but it's more Delena based. You could combine with us. They say they welcome all opinions, etc, and the rules and stuff are the same as our old forum we was at.

And, you just have to ask one of the mods or whatever, but they make other circles for other fans, and there's already a board for TVD lovers or whatever. There can be a bamon thread.

If you don't want to move, then I can help you out over here. I could help you get more people, post spoilers, etc. Maybe even help you mod or whatever.

Hey, I will message you about that because I don't want to move away from the episode.

To get back on topic though. J. Morgan was so good this episode.

I didn't feel bad for Klaus though, so what they killed his brother. Klaus killed their Aunt, hell he even killed Elena. Was going to kill Caroline and Tyler. Killed Carol, just 3 episodes ago. Was going to kill Elena again, last season. So, no, I didn't feel sorry for him. Did you?

Ok, fine with me lol. Yeah, I didn't feel bad for Klaus but I did feel bad for Kol. Kol was just trying to get everyone to back off the cure, for the safety of the world. While I didn't feel bad for Klaus, I felt for him in the scene where he finds out Kol is dead. He obv cares for his family despite his treatment of them, and he really was pissed that Elena killed Kol. Hell, Klaus showed more emotion about Kol being dead than Rebekah did.

Other than that, I don't feel sorry for Klaus at all. He brings most of that stuff on himself. Do you think they will actually make klaroline a legit couple? They had Klaus question Damon about klaroline this episode, and I was wondering if they was setting up for klaroline?

PostSubject: Re: Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill]   Episode 4x12 [A View to a Kill] EmptyFri Feb 01, 2013 10:42 am

Yea, the scene was sad, but other than it being sad that his brother died I didn't feel sorry for him. I really didn't feel too bad for Kol either, he was trying to have Jeremy killed and he had just tried to kill Bonnie as well, so what did he expect. Then he was walking around town with the damn stake in his pocket. I honestly didn't care about Kol like a lot of fans, I didn't dislike him, but he didn't serve any other purpose but to die to complete the map. And I definitely did not ship Kennett, so I was cool on him dying. Even though, I'm sure he will be raised when Silas is awakened.

And as for Klaroline, oh goodness I hope they don't make them legit. I don't believe they will. I have always said Klaus is just there to cause conflict for Forwood and Caroline. With last night's episode and him asking Damon how he did it to me only proves that they won't make them legit because it seemed like what Damon was saying is that Klaus has no redeeming qualities to make his acts forgivable. Which, imho, he doesn't.

But, on the other hand I almost spit out my drink when Damon said, "if you are going to be bad, be bad with a purpose." Because really a lot of the bad things Damon has done, had no purpose whatsoever.

Yeah, maybe if Kol had more evidence other than Silas is evil for reasons, than maybe they wouldn't have killed him. Plus, like you said, it was stupid to keep the white oak stake on him? Why not just keep it somewhere safe? Kol and Rebekah are my fave Originals, but I'm not really attached to them, or would care if they die.

In Kol's defense though, like Klaus said, Elena trapped Jeremy in there with Kol when she invited him in. If they had just stuck to the plan, Kol would have been daggered and not a problem anymore. And Kol really did want everyone to stop searching for the cure, for everyone's safety. He tried to kill Bonnie because without her the spell or whatever needed for the cure wouldn't happen. Same with Jeremy, he was doing whatever he could to stop the cure. The ends justify the means, just like Damon does. IDK though, maybe he should have tried to be more clear about the danger. Or elaborated on Silas or something.

Yeah, I saw that a lot of klaroline fans don't think the show will just drop klaroline like that. And that Caroline, after this show is over, will be in the spinoff. Isn't this Caroline/Tyler/Klaus triangle supposed to be like the D/E/S one? I think I remember that being said once, and that Klaus is Damon in this triangle or whatever?

LOL I laughed at that too. But I think he just basically meant if you're going to do bad things, at least do them for good reasons/purpose, otherwise you're just being bad for the sake of being bad. But I agree that a lot of the times, Damon does things he doesn't have to, that serves no purpose lol.

Yea but the problem with daggering is that it wouldn't have completed the map. They didn't know how many vampires Jeremy would have to kill to even complete it. Yes, Kol was looking to save everyone from Silas but the way he went about it was completely wrong. He went up to Bonnie and was about to kill her without hesitation, no real explanation. He didn't try to reason with her or explain to her, he was ready to kill. Same with Jeremy last week, Just ready to kill, although he did mention about Silas being why to Damon/Jeremy. Kol, could have stolen and destroyed the headstone or something. So, I think his death was justified, sorry I just don't feel as sorry for him like some other fans. Yes, he was being logical and yes they should have listened, but he still was trying to kill these people. It doesn't matter why to them, if the bad guy is trying to kill you in tv land, you kill them first. Yea, he could have been daggered, but it was killing 3 birds with 1 stone. If anything, I felt bad for the vampire line that was the collateral damage. It would have been funny as hell if Kol started their vampire line and they just started dropping like flies lmao. Anyway, my point is that Kol was being unreasonable he came on the show out of nowhere attempting to murder 3 people in 3 episodes.

I don't know if they will just drop Klaroline, but nothing real will become of them I don't believe. They may flirt, hell they may even share a kiss. But, I don't see them ever actually dating. And I doubt Klaus will be waiting around for Caroline until TVD is over, we don't even know when the show will end. JP said it could be season 6 or even season 10 and also, who's to say Caroline will live to the end of the series? No offense to any shippers, but I sometimes feel that some shippers see and hear what they want to hear and turn things in a scene around to fit their ship. I have seen this will all ships, SE, DE, Bamon, Kennett, Klaroline-- it never fails. I'm just glad I'm not a hardcore shipper.

Yea, that's what I was saying. BAsically that Klaus has had no remorse for his bad deeds. But at the same time, he had a purpose for them--not a good one--but he had a purpose. It was just a crazy line to hear between those too, to me anyway lol

I just read a log of carina's twitter chat, and she said there's no way to bring Kol back lol. I guess the Original fans thinking he'll come back will be even more pissed. But yeah, can we have more badass Elena and Bonnie please?

And judging from 4x13 Bonnie is on the island with them, so I want to see her interactions with Shane, now that she knows he's crazy.

I liked this episode, it was really good!

I officially ship Stebekah, I liked how for once Stefan actually trusts her and didnt dagger her, she's growing a lot on me this season Smile
I really dont like dark Bonnie though, I think im a bit scared of her No
I was shocked when Abby came back though, I totally forgot she was a character haha!
Loved Elena & Jeremys scenes, I'm happy there was no Salvatore to help them because it shows what they van do together, proud of them cheers
I still hate Klaus, I thought his conversation with Damon was quite funny
Gutted Kol died, he was my second fav original Crying or Very sad rip kol

Anyone else get a fright when Jeremy ripped his top off? I thought he was dying because he killed so many at oonce, but that might've just been me Smile can't wait for next week's!

When Jeremy yelled out, I was like wtf. I thought he was dying or something lol. He ripped his shirt off like the hulk though, which I found hilarious. I wonder how this hunter sl will end for Jeremy though? Like, will he forever be a hunter now, and have the urge to kill vamps? Or is there a way to cure him of that?

I think Bonnie is really badass now, and I hope they let her keep her expression powers. She can do a ton of damage with them. She's way more powerful now. She was able to instantly put up a wall to keep Klaus trapped. And when she took Kol down Kol at the school, with the balloons popping, lockers bursting open, that was cool.

I just shook my head at Abby. How dare she try to come back and boss Bonnie around? She left her TWO TIMES! Bonnie was willing to forgive the previous time if and was willing to get to know Abby, but then Abby just up and left again. Then she tried to drug Bonnie. Bonnie should have did more to her imo. Who drugs their daughter? And Bonnie's dad is annoying. He doesn't even know Shane that much, but he'll believe and listen to Shane over Bonnie? Worst. Parents. Ever.

I liked Rebekah this episode. I mean, I liked her before, but her telling Stefan she wants to be human was so sad, she made me love her even more. I really hope she doesn't get killed, and I hope she does get to become human. Even Matt was affected by it. Her whole speech was good, and I hope she does get to be human and experience those things.
