| Kevin Bacon is awesome, nuff said. I loved him in almost everything I've seen him play in. And KW is awesome too, I really wish he had stayed on and helped out with TVD. Maybe it wouldn't be as lame as it's gotten now if he was still there.
The pilot was hella scary lol, I jumped a few times at a couple scenes and moments. The cult stuff is very scary as well, KW does murder really well lol. I have to watch anything and get more detailed, because when I watched last night I fell asleep because I was tired. So the next post will be longer, which is how I normally write them anyway, lol. But yeah, this show is really good.

| You just watched the pilot so far? It was really jumpy, it gets intense on some scenes. They aren't afraid to go there, that's why I like this show. You don't know who to trust on this show. Some really shocking things happen, so keep watching lol. | |

| Ok so, I'm basically going to watch the following while logged in here and post my thoughts of what I'm seeing and the episode.
The pilot: Loved the beginning scene where they find the dead guards. I said it before but KW does murder really well. lol. And I guess the guard is the escaped prisoner? LOL they couldn't tell he wasn't "Pete" by his voice? Worst friends/work mates ever lol.
Damn, dude killed 14 girls. And he's badass for killing 5(?) guards in under 2 mins.
"Any idea why he would leave that for you"? "He likes my book, said so himself". Lmao.
Iceman from X-men is in here. I like him as a actor as well. I loved how he was aggressive with Ryan one minute, kissing his ass the next.
That lady who stabbed herself in the eye was crazy. WTF.
I jumped when the dog started barking and everyone on screen jumped back. So Caroll was showing the prison guard how to kill people by practicing on dogs? That's why he put up the posters of missing dogs?
Overall I loved the pilot. Joe Caroll is a awesome villain, and I loved his speech about writing a new book and needing a flawed hero who failed for new plot and book. The music, him talking to Ryan, his followers kidnapping his son, all well done. I never even suspected the two gay guys was in on this cult stuff. What are your thoughts Kray?
ETA: This reminds me of Cult so much, only much better. And I will do the same thing I did today tomorrow with episode 2.

| Yea, I was really shocked about the neighbors. Definitely was like, oh snap when that happened and the nanny as well. Joe has his shit planned to the T. It's really astounding to watch, like he did all of this locked up in prison. He is really a great villain.
The pilot really won me over, a lot of times I have to watch a couple of episodes before a show really draws me in. But from the first scene I was drawn in. And with each episode you find yourself side eying every damn body! Because you are like are they followers? Can't really trust anyone on this show.

| When it was shown they was his followers I was like wow, Ryan was right. They actually spent years pretending to be her friend just to be close to her. And like you said, Dude planned all of it from prison, that's pretty badass and awesome. I'm going to post my thoughts on the second episode either later today or tomorrow.
I agree that this show won me over as well, it's really great and full of surprises, blood, mystery, and dead bodies lol. I can't wait till I watch the next episode. The pilot had my full attention from beginning to end.

| That's why I love The Mentalist as well. It's another great show, but not as mysterious and full of killing like this show. I'm going to watch the second episode tomorrow, early before TVD comes on. The pilot had me hooked, let's see what the second episode does. | |
