Episodes
1: Growing Pains, Elena awakens on the morning after the accident to find the thing she dreaded most has come true – she died with vampire blood in her system and now must go through the terrible transition to become a vampire…or face certain death. Stefan promises Elena that he and Bonnie will exhaust every possible way out of the situation, but Damon is furious with his brother for letting Elena die in the first place. Bonnie pays a terrible price for her attempt to change Elena’s fate, while Damon takes out his frustration and rage on Matt. In a rare moment of empathy, Rebekah is deeply touched by Stefan and Elena’s devotion to one another. Finally, Pastor Young and the Town Council members begin rounding up the vampires and their supporters, leading to an unexpected tragedy.
2: Memorial, focuses on the arrival of April after her father Pastor Young died, Elena's memory returning, and a new vampire hunter - Connor - arriving.

News
-Joseph Morgan WILL return as Klaus, he won't be stuck as Tyler forever.
-Matt Davis will return.
-Everyone will be mad at Rebekah for either killing Elena or stopping the Petrova bloodline.
-The first episode will be directed by Chris Grismer and written by Caroline Dries.
-The second episode was written by Jose Molina.
-Reading and recording of the first episode began on July 9th.
-Elena will not take revenge on Rebekah. Damon has revenge in mind and takes his anger out on Matt.
-The brothers may be torn apart because Damon will be mad at Stefan for saving Matt instead of Elena, and Stefan will be feeling extremely guilty.
-Meredith will be in more episodes than last season.
-Katherine will not return until Klaus is no longer a threat.
-Damon will no longer "try to be the better man."
-The premiere will take place a few hours after the season 3 finale.
-Elena will develop mood swings.
-Bonnie will go through a lot and possibly tap into more dark magic. Jeremy will want to help her.
-Matt will try to prove to everyone that he was worth saving in Elena's place.
-Jeremy will be both happy Elena's alive and upset she's a vampire.
-The first scene of season 4 features Matt and Caroline.
-Early on, Elena will have "very hot vampire sex" with either Stefan, Damon, Matt, Klaus or Elijah.
-Caroline is going to kiss Klaus whilst he's in Tyler's body and is extremely happy to see him, as she thought he died.
-The fourth episode has a flashback of 900 years prior and features Rebekah.
-Stefan will ride a motorcycle.
-There is still hope for Jeremy and Bonnie's relationship.
-There is still hope for a Damon and Elena relationship.
-The Originals will stay in town for a while.
-DELENA FANS: Julie Plec's favourite Delena moment happens in 4x02, but there are good scenes in 4x04, too!
-Elena will remember all the times she was compelled.
-Caroline and Stefan's friendship will grow stronger as Caroline comforts him regarding Elena's situation.
-Jeremy will try to protect Elena from the new vampire hunter.
-Damon and Stefan will both emotionally mentor her and always fight for her.
-Tyler and Klaus will start to fight over Caroline once Klaus returns to his body and Tyler is filled in on all that happened.
-Klaus will not give up on Caroline. He will come up with dozens of entertaining ways to break her and Tyler up.
-Bonnie will get a new love interest.
-THERE WILL BE 23 EPISODES THIS SEASON INSTEAD OF THE USUAL 22.
-Elena will start of drinking human blood, which troubles Stefan.
-Meredith will comfort Damon, but will not be a new love interest.
-Episode 4 will be essential to the course of the season.
-The fourth episode will feature a college quad scene and a Halloween party with the theme "murder."
-A sexy Delena scene in 4.04.
-A scene of Stefan and Elena in the woods 4.04.
-Elena will receive a daylight ring made by Bonnie.
-Senior year will continue, and graduation will take place.
-Caroline's first anniversary as a vampire will take place.
-Everyone except Damon will help Elena deal with her new cravings. He wants her to give in to what she feels and let what happens happen.
-Elijah will be involved in a flashback to the 11th century. The actors will wear wigs.
-Esther did not create the vampire spell. We will discover who the real Originals are/were.
-Jeremy will start to fight back and take charge.
-Elena does turn into a vampire but things may turn out differently for Elena than they turned out for her vampire friends.
-Bonnie will try to help Jeremy deal with Elena's situation.
-Caroline and Rebekah will be in trouble from vampire hunters.
-From episodes 4-7 there will be a large shocking death and the return of "a familiar face."
-Jeremy's big season 4 arc will begin in episode 2. Episode 2 "may set a new Guinness record for featuring the highest concentration of bloody puke in a single hour-long episode of television."
-The season's main focus will be the end of adolescence. There will be the questions: Do I leave home for good? Do I stay? Can I part with this town? Can I part with these people? Am I going and starting my own life in the world?
-There will be a big threat to the Originals joining the show.
-The second episode will include a big revelation.
-There will be at least one flashback to 1940.
-There will be another Miss Mystic Falls pageant in episode 7.

Gabrielle Douglas will guest star. There will be another Miss Mystic Falls Pageant. this happen during 4.07 .

I kinda want Bonnie to be in this years Pageant if they are going to do another one Might be a cool way to have the three girl bond this season.

And how cool is it that Gabby will be on the shoe... she's a lucky girl

The one about the witch and Damon pisses me off. I don't like how they treat witches, who are mostly black, on this show. There is no reason for vampires to expect service from witches and witches should be able to defend themselves against vampires.

I would mind her and Jeremy as friends but I really hope they don't get back together

I love how Kat is not giving us everything but giving us something at the same time. It's clear that something is going to happen with her and Shane... what i am wondering is will her relationship with Shane be the reason for her turn dark and how soon will that happen.

Yeah she start to messing with it a while ago but how long will it take before it starts to effect her interactions with everyone else. It seems like she isn't messing around this time. Bonnie will save her friends but on her terms. Should be intresting to see how long that will last.


I think we are going to get a lot more of Bonnie than many of us in this fandom may think. when I'm looking for spoliers I always see Elena and then the next artical is about Bonnie...

Right, Bonnie has been in most spoilers so far. I really think this season will be good for, well the first half at least. Grrr, come on October!

I'm calling it now, Shane will be up to no good. He may really like Bonnie but I think he has a greater purpose.

Yeah It always seems like when they get a guest star or something they put them with bonnie and then somthing bad happens... I hope that isn't the case but you never can tell

I read something interesting today.

You know how Paul and Kat weren't at the filming for the Miss Mystic Falls? Well what if Stefan and Bonnie are having their own little scenes together outside of MMF? Maybe they are working on their own little badass plan

episode, which is really cool, and we've had a lot of scenes since," she

affair with a ghost. She's got a lot of mending and healing to do. So
she might give him another chance, or she might think that friendship is

So, I always lurk other forums to get spoilers for the show and found this one. So, some of the members of this forum were saying that Bonnie needs to get over Jeremy having an affair and that's why she always seems so judgmental because Elena got over the Jeremy neck snap, Caroline got over Tyler's hesitation to help her in season 2, Tyler got over them killing Mason, and Matt got over the Vicki thing.

People really just blow my mind when it comes to Bonnie. Because last time I checked Bonnie has been in scenes with Jeremy and wasn't tooting her nose up at him. Just because someone may or may not want to be with someone that cheated on them (with a ghost no less ) doesn't make them judgemental

I think you will come up with whatever excuss you can to make sure you favorite character looks good. Personally I think Bonnie has handled her relationship with Jeremy very well, it was clear even after he left MF that Bonnie cared about him. I think it take people time to get over things. I don't belive for a minute that people who are saying she needs to get over it would be so quick to do so if they had been in her position.

Bonnie has always been on of those people on the show that hold people accountable for their actions, however she has learn to get past it and move on. Look at her relationsships with Caroline, Stefan, and Damon. all three of them have made bad chices she doesn't pat them on the back and say it's ok that you killed someone... just don't do it again...NO she looks them dead in the face and says 'You messed up, now clean it up and take the punishment'. I don't think there is anything wrong with that and I wish other females on the show were more like her

It will be nice to see these two have a stroner friendship again but I am not feeling a romance for these two. I think Bonnie can do better and i Jeremy hasn't earned the right to be with Bonnie in that way.

The thing about though, is that they weren't making their favorite look good. These were DE fans, just spewing hate at Bonnie for no reason. I can say that Bonnie was a big judgmental in season 1, but if people can't see how much she has grown in regards to vampires then apparently they are watching the wrong show.

Just because other girls will fall for whatever and are so quick to forgive and forget doesn't mean it's okay. The thing is that Bonnie wasn't being judgy, it's just a matter of if she wants to date him again after he did something wrong. Same with how Elena chose to Date Stefan after things he did in season 3 where she had to make a choice, and the same for Bonnie...her choice.

I am anti Beremy though. I liked them pre-ghost.

I agree with you... that is why i don't deal with fanatics of this show

As for Beremy, it will be nice to see them working together again but it doesn't seem like they will get together. That would be taking a step back not forward.

Highlights of episodes 1 and 2

After reading this I am way excited ab out the first to episodes. I'm wondering if Bonnie might really die. I know that she has to in order to bring Elena back but if you look at other episode you don't see much of Bonnie

Which has me thinking maybe she dies but comes back some how later...idk just thinking out loud lol

So I remember that a while ago, Julie Plec said we would not see Katherine until Klaus was out of the picture.

Since everyone believe he's dead, I wonder if we'll see Katherine in the season premiere? Several of the spoilers I've read mention a surprise appearance... Could it be her?

I got really excited about this too... like I was jumping up and down after reading it. Kat isn't big about giving to much information away when it comes to TVD... so for her to say some of the things she said is kind of a big deal for me.

I for one would think it would be so great to have this triangle ( elena/damon/bonnie) on the show because she is right. Bamon dynamic would be off the charts hot on this show and would put Delena to shame

I read an interview that Julie Plec did about this season where the interviewer asked about a new friend for Damon. Although I think he and Meridith will be friends of some sorts, I honestly think she will die this season and that's why they are promoting her so it can be shocking when it does. Anyway, she said something that he needs a close friend, similar to his relationship with Alaric. So I'm really hoping it will become Bonnie at some point this season. I think IF she is the one he confides in, we will have a great chance of that happening.

Because Bonnie and Alaric are so similar it would make sense if it is Bonnie... I think Damon and The Doctor will become friends of sorts because of their bond with Alaric but I don't see it lasting long or being as meaningful as his relationship with Alaric was because of who she is.

My fingers are crossed that a friendship will happen for Bonnie and Damon... I think they both could use a good friends right now

Exactly! Both relationships started the same. I just don't see what he and Meredith would have in common? I know they work together to find out about Connor in episode 3. But really, what is Meredith's point in MF? She is not longer a doctor, she isn't supernatural, she won't be on the council anymore, so I'm just trying to understand why she is still on the show. I really think she will die at some point TBH, so I don't think they would do that to Damon, give him a close friend again only to kill them off again.

I feel like they keep so many people and I have yet to see how they are relevent to the moving the story forwards and Meredith is on such character.

I guess I will just wait and see what happens but I agree with you.. I do not see he lasting long on the show.

I was intending to comment on this, but got sidetracked with Bamon LOL.

I had been saying this for weeks now, ever since the stills for episode 2 came out and she wasn't in them. We know she is in episode 2, so why is she not at the Memorial? I know I read the synopsis that she is really at a bad place after what happens in the premiere, I just have no idea what that could be aside from death. KG said that it was something worse than when she lost her powers. Death, becoming a vampire, killing a loved one what? LOL I have no
idea and I want to know. 6 days, where are you?

In part of the stills showing the Memorial Damon is missing, so until Thursday I'm going to live in Bamonland and say Damon is with her having sexytime LOL.
