Discuss the brooding Stefan Salvatore

I feel like Stefan Salvatore has the most story to tell. He's got a very rich past/history. He's the least known out of the trio. Really we know hardly anything about Elena's supernatural history but ... I want to know Stefan. Also if PW was given the chance he would eat that material alive.

Oh Paul would have no problem with it, he already proved that when we got that gilmps of him as The Ripper... I love Paul he is a true talent and I love Stefan because of him. I feel like after I saw Stefan turn into the Ripper i like him more. Not because he was the "bad guy" but because he had a life that was all about his thirst . He wasn't this contorled brooding guy. Stefan knw how to have a good time and his time with Klaus and Rebecca was fun for him... we saw a diffrent side to him.

When Klaus forced him to change we saw the conflict and struggle he had, he knew he had to do what Klaus told him...he didn't had a choice but you could see the hint of pain behind his eyes. Paul was great, I get chills just thinking about it lol. I am so hoping that JP stays true to her word because she has said that the writers want to take Stefan back down that dark path.

In fact Paul went to her and said that he wanted to do more with Stefan that the little bit of time with him as the Ripper wasn't enough. I would so love to see Stefan like that again mostly because Paul is a BOSS as Ripper Stefan lol

Stefan needed more than what he got on the show. I think he shouldn't have been in the first couple of episodes so that we could wonder and worry about him and what he was up to with Klaus and then the first time we saw him shoulda been when he saw Damon and Elena on the couch and he told them not to let him interrupt.

from the moment i saw stefan i knew this was going to be a character i loved, im a sucker for romantic nice guys so when he returned to his ripper roots i started to really hate him as much as i hated klaus, i loved the storyline though as it showed him for what he really was

I love Stefan. I didn't like the Ripper thing though, the whole ripping the heads off his victims was too much for me, a bit sadistic and gross and weird lol. I much preferred his blood lust story in season 1 because it was more real to me. It showed he had flaws and wasn't as perfect as he appeared, so I hope if they go back down the blood lust road that it's not the Ripper that tears his victims bodies a part

I only like Stefan turning Ripper because we it was great to see where his character came from. All the blood and heads rolling thins.... not so fun . It was great to see Paul acting as well, we were so use to seeing him act like this nice guy and when the switch flip so did Paul. He did an amazing job on Ripper Stefan.

Though I would want it to come back full force I wouldn't mind seeing Stefan go down a darker storyline this season. We all know Paul and pull it off very well

Oh, I was reading somewhere and someone commented on Stefan's choice to save Matt and made realize something I never did. That Stefan unintentionally saved Damon, had Stefan saved Elena...Damon would probably be dead because Alaric was fixing to stake him.

There is always a chance... I think we didn't get all we could the first time around. I don't want him to go crazy but it would be nice to see a darker Stefan

Has there been any Stefan spoilers for season4? I can't recall any? As much as I love Stelena, I hope he has something outside of Elena.

The start of this season is not the best for Stefan because there really isn't much that has changed yet with his dynamic with Elena. I think we will see more once Elena and Damon start to interact more.

I think out of the trio Stefan is the most known. We know a lot about him from flashbacks and his talks with Elena in S1-2. Stefan spoilers are him getting a motorcycle, him leaning on Caroline in 4x03, trying to turn Elena human, is the only ones I think was given. I think the "trying to turn Elena human" sl will be a season long thing and in the finale 4x23 they'll turn someone human. And there's a spoiler that SE discuss Damon or whatever, and in interviews PW has been saying that SE are having problems. But I think that's because he's tired of SE and want to be the ripper again.

After 4x01 and the way he treated Matt, I am no longer Team Stefan.

Sorry, can you please explain a bit more, i don't get it. How did Stefan save Damon exactly?

I'm not crazy about the ripper thing, although it was kind of interesting to see stefan's past. I just love the present Stefan..for me, that is who Elena loves and that is who I love too. Also..so long as Stefan stays with Elena, Im happy hehe..

Ok, honestly the way that Stefan was treating Matt may have surprised me..but I wasn't shocked. Stefan can be a dick when he wants to be..and yeah his gf just died saving her ex cz she wouldn't let you leave him. That's erm harsh.

But I like it I mean Stefan aint a straight out saint *shrug*

Honestly? The Ripper went away too soon. Stefan is a rich character he DOES need something AWAY from Elena for now

Why am I the only one not surprised? He acted like that before..e.g. the way he talked to John in season 1(?) in the hospital.

It was s2 actually but yeah I mean he has been intimidating to less powerful beings aka humans. He just doesn't straight out snap their necks tho

I like how Stefan knows about this Cure for being a Vamp and he this Doing Every thing he can to see that Elena can have a shot at the Life she wanted .

I also so like that the Minute Stefan saw Jeremy was there he moved the Help Him

I loved that Stefan was the one to end things... I mean I know SE is endgame. However the fact that he was just like "chick just be honest... after everything you can at least do that" made me smile.

Stefan does and will always do everything that he can to keep Elena safe and in that moment Elena was completly selfish. Because she said it herself that she loved him and the fact that he was always trying to keeo her safe and give her what she wants and that just wasn't enough.

Had it been the other way around, I don't think I could have handled it. Stefan was jerked around by her long enough and he had every right to say duces to Elena. I know it isn't forever but I'm glad for Stefan... now maybe he can have a little fun

I'm glad he did too because what Elena was doing wasn't right at all. I wonder how they will come back from Elena sleeping with Damon?

I hope he doesn't go all crazy trying to find this cure though.
